Atlas - Animation, Visual Effects & Gaming Festival fourth edition will take place on May 8th at ETIC (School of Technologies, Innovation and Creation) in Lisbon.

With the aim of bringing together global talent in animation, visual effects, and gaming, the festival highlights Portugal's exceptional professionals who are making a significant impact on the national and international stages.

Organized by Dialogue creative studio in collaboration with ETIC, the Atlas Festival serves as an annual gathering to foster knowledge exchange, community building, enhance national educational institutions and open doors for students and future professionals.
We aim to establish bridges of contact and engage in serious conversations about training and work in this field.

Studio Kimchi:. A small, human-centered animation studio founded by former big-studio professionals who believe in storytelling that creates positive change. They focus on close collaboration, flexibility, and meaningful relationships with clients worldwide. Their work has been recognized internationally, with wins, selections, and finalist distinctions at various festivals and awards.

Granpa's Studio:. A design-driven creative studio in Porto, specializing in art direction, CGI, and 3D animation. It creates immersive, sensory experiences by blending art and technology.
With a multidisciplinary team focused on innovation, it transforms brand stories into engaging digital narratives. Its workspace, Fisga Warehouse, serves as a hub for experimentation and creative development.

Vitaliy Havrylyuk:. Born in Ukraine and raised in Portugal, Vitaliy Havrylyuk is a VFX Supervisor, 3D Generalist, and Motion Designer with 9 years of industry experience, having collaborated on projects for brands and artists such as Mugler, The Weeknd, Xbox, UBC, Tyler Shaw, among others.

BAP Animation Studio:. An animation studio founded by directors, animators, and storytellers focused on collaboration. Its author-driven short films have received national and international recognition and awards

Miguel Rato:. Director, designer, and animator focused on storytelling and design. Experienced in 2D and 3D projects, working across all stages from concept to completion. Active in the industry since 2006, collaborating with top studios and global brands across film, TV, gaming, and branding. Former Director and Designer at Tendril Studio.
