Carlos Cidrais is a CG Supervisor with experience in Film, Streaming and Commercials.
Having started his career in Porto, Portugal where he currently resides, he has lived and worked in the U.K., Australia and Canada.
Having worked in productions such as "Mad Max: Fury Road", "Ghostbusters: Afterlife", "Foundation", he is currently working in DC Comics "The Flash" feature film.
On a daily basis, he works directly with Production to manage teams of CG artists, perform quality control and technical advisory thus ensuring the successful delivery of visual effects within the schedule.

Filipe Carvalho is a graphic designer and director working in film and television.
Living in Lisbon, Portugal, Filipe grew up watching foreign tv shows and films, fascinated by American pop culture and dreaming of one day being a part of it all, all along learning to speak english because of it.
Ever since then he has been involved in high profile projects around the world, lending his distinct voice and cinematic eye to everything from network rebrands to film title sequences.
Already an established name in the industry, he's been invited to speak at international festivals such as OFFF, FITC and Semi Permanent and featured in publications and newspapers.
In early 2017 Filipe founded Foreign Affairs, a design studio where he can continue his work as a designer for entertainment clients, but also extend his focus to live action production and film making, creating original content and generally expand his influence in all things creative.
Visual effects, DIgital animation & CGI prodution
Currently CEO of Glimpse VFX, my academic career has always been around the world of Arts with a particular focus on 3D. I took the industrial design course at the Academy of Arts and Technologies and soon started working in the 3D area.
Starting in the world of architecture in 1995, my first big job was the modelling, texturing and rendering of the Colombo Shopping Centre.
In 1998 I created my first 3d animation company, called 3dO2. Over 4 years, we made several animations for advertising with a strong partnership with Megatoon where we combined 2d and 3d animation for multiple Singer family campaigns.
In 2002 I joined the post-production company Ingreme, where for 14 years I took on the role of CG supervisor, participating in thousands of advertising campaigns, helping to win several awards including the best 3d site in the world in 2005 in San Francisco.
In 2017 I created my second company (Glimpse VFX) where I combine all the years of experience to lead a team of specialists in the field of visual effects and 3d animation.
Character Artist & DIgital Sculptor
Milton Fernandes is a Freelance 3D Character Artist and Digital Sculptor, specialized in animation and VFX.
With an academic background in Cinema and Multimedia Communication, very soon he specialized in 3D asset productions. Moved by a passion for digital sculpting, anatomy, character design and organic assets, he integrated a diverse range of projects in the fields of television, advertising, animation and games.
Currently working from Lisbon with worldwide visual effects and animation feature studios.
Art Director & Designer
Nidia Dias is a passionate Art Director and Designer from Portugal currently based in Porto. Her work is focused mainly on styleframes and look development for motion.
With a background in graphic design, combined with motion expertise she creates visually compelling images that tell a story. Her colorful and experimental style is characteristic of a great sense of abstraction and visual attractiveness.
With over 10 years of experience, she had the pleasure to work with some great studios around the world, as well as a diverse client list including names such as Microsoft, HP, Adobe, and Nike.
Mobile Game Developer
Ricardo Flores is the Executive Producer of Avakin Life a mobile Metaverse App with 1M Daily Active Users with a content drive community. He is also responsible for Lockwood Publishing Lisbon studio operation. Being in the mobile gaming industry since 2004 he also experienced the PC and Console side as an indie developer. With a marketing background games and brands have been his mantra for the last 12 years creating new digital opportunities for Billabong, Nike, MegaRamp, Cristiano Ronaldo, O Boticario, The Voice, between others. Collaborating with Web3 projects since 2017 helped to shape some eSports and Skill based platforms in Portugal and is now part of Avakin Web3 project.
Ricardo is a regular speaker and judge on game related events like PGConnect, FNAC New Talents, etc. He is also an active member of the Portuguese Game Developers community, mentoring new projects and was a former president of the Portuguese Game Dev Association as well as an organizer of the Game DevCamp Portugal conference. Ricardo also teachs at ESCS from Polytechnic of Lisbon and helped to create 2 videogames degrees in Portugal.
Just shy of a decade, Nerd Monkeys’ was founded in April of 2013 and has been on a journey of growth in areas of consulting, bizdev, game development and publishing in the games industry, all of it backed by our passion for captivating storytelling, unique visuals, fun gameplay mechanics and the experiences they can provide to players. It all started with our first IP “Detective Case and Clown Bot” and our latest game “Out of Line” came out in 2021 for PC and consoles. In between is full of educational and advert games, porting development, casual and hyper casual mobile games and a lot of consulting work.
On April of 2021 a new branch of the business was created, indie publishing of games from studios with all sorts of backgrounds and experiences, investing in meaningful short games and bringing them to the consoles market. But there’s more, a lot more, planned for the next 5 years of Nerd Monkeys.
