SPEAKER: BRUNO CAETANO
Founded in 2015, Col.A - Colectivo de Animação is created to develop and promote animation in Portugal, originally through various training projects. Soon after, it started the production of varied contents, starting with the elaboration of video clips for national musicians.
Composed of artists, creatives and more technical elements, all the members that passed through the collective, came together to develop and produce the most varied projects.
The Colectivo has given place to a new project COLA - Cultural Cooperative, in 2018, a natural evolution composed of a vast international team, capable of responding to any creative challenge in a professional way. The work of the cooperative, and its members, passes through other areas of interest such as the production of short films, animation for advertising or institutional films, and animated content for theatre plays or live events.
However, they try never to forget the main reason why the Colectivo was created, which now transits to the new cooperative: the training and sharing of knowledge in the area of animation.
Speaker: Bruno Caetano was born in Portimão, Portugal, in 1979. Self-taught animator and builder, graduated from Lisbon’s Faculty of Fine Arts Multimedia Investigation and Studies Center (CIEAM) with a specialization in Stop Motion technique.
